    A Congolese student at the University of San Francisco, Ms. Kizungu is pursuing a career as a neuropsychologist. Her journey began in a psychiatric hospital, where she gained experience working with patients facing mental health challenges. This early exposure to the complexities of human psychology has significantly shaped her career path.

    Driven by a passion for supporting vulnerable populations, Ms. Kizungu now works with the Immigration and Refugees Program in Santa Clara County. In this role, she dedicates herself to assisting immigrants and refugees as they navigate the complexities of resettlement and integration, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to build new lives.

    Francine has over 20 years of experience in the hospital environment, including extensive expertise developed in the emergency room. Her work in the emergency room has illuminated the profound impact of dedicated care, motivating her to extend her efforts to those in need. She is devoted to providing comprehensive support to young women and children, particularly those who are abused, pregnant, or suffering from malnutrition and illness.
    Her mission includes not only immediate medical care but also the provision of clothing, school supplies, and vocational training in trades such as sewing, mechanics, masonry, and carpentry. By offering financial assistance to orphans and the impoverished, she strives to create a pathway to a better future for them.

    Outside of work, Yves is a sports enthusiast who values the positive influence of sports on personal development.
